Timberpoint Men’s Club Rules Red Course Hole #1 - Driving range is OB, must rehit from previous spot with one stroke penalty.
- No relief from fence or supporting wires. Ball to close to fence to hit, play as unplayable and take one stroke penalty, dropping two club lengths no closer to the hole.
- Ball over fence or lost in back of green is deemed OB. Rehit from previous spot, with one stroke penalty.
- Ball on road or other side of road that is found is deemed in play.
Hole #2 - Ball over fence is OB. Must hit from previous spot, with one shot penalty.
- Driving range is OB. Rehit from previous spot with a one shot penalty.
Hole # 3 - Ball over fence on left is OB rehit with one shot penalty.
- No relief from fence or supporting wires. Ball to close to fence to hit, play as unplayable and take one stroke penalty, dropping two club lengths no closer to the hole.
Hole #4 - Ball over fence on left is OB, rehit with one shot penalty.
- No relief from fence or supporting wires. Ball to close to fence to hit, play as unplayable and take one stroke penalty, dropping two club lengths no closer to the hole.
Hole #5 - Ball over road in back of green is "Safety OB". Drop inside of road with a one stroke penalty.
- Ball resting on road is in play; free drop inside of road no closer to the hole.
Hole #6 - Ball inside of white stakes on left near house or over fence is OB. Rehit from previous spot. One shot penalty.
Hole # 7 - Sump in front of the tee is a hazard. Either play the ball in the hazard (with hazard rule) or drop it two club lengths from where it crossed the hazard line with a one shot penalty.
- If your ball is in the woods on the right side of hole you must play it as it lies or rehit from the previous spot, with a one shot penalty.
- Woods left side of hole, tee to green, is a lateral hazard.
Hole # 8 - Ball hit from tee over lake on right is OB.
- Ball in parking lot, no penalty, drop at nearest relief, one club length from point of entry.
Hole # 9 Ball over road in back of green is OB. Replay from green side of hole. One stroke penalty. Ball resting on road is in play; drop on green side of hole no closer to the hole. Tennis court, remove ball at point of entry one club length. No penalty.
Blue Course Rules Hole #1 - Ball landing in lake on left or right, they are lateral hazards. Lateral hazard rule applies. One stroke penalty.
Hole #2 - Ball hitting net or supporting structure of net is in play. Play it as it lays or retee with a one shot penalty. (No relief from net)
- Ball landing in water in front of tee or side of green is a yellow hazard. Retee or drop behind lake on tee side.
- Ball landing past the back edge of green in the water or reeds is a lateral hazard. Lateral hazard rule applies. One shot penalty.
Hole #3 - Reeds on left side or in back of green are lateral hazards. Lateral hazard rule applies. One shot penalty
Hole # 4 - Water and reeds left and right of hole are lateral hazards. Lateral hazard rule applies. One shot penalty.
- Dirt road on right, Cart path rule, drop one club length, no penalty
- Dirt on right side of fairway bunker in play. Play it down.
Hole # 5 - Ball touching water left and over green is OB. (OB rule applies). Hit from tee or hit from where previously hit. Stroke and distance.
- Drainage ditch in front of tee is a hazard. Lateral hazard rules apply.
- Ball resting in rocks, left or over green, if not touching water is in play. Either play as is, take an unplayable with a one stroke penalty or hit from previous spot.
Hole #6 - Ball in reeds or drainage ditch on right is in a lateral hazard.
- Mound in the right side of fairway is a lateral hazard.
- Beach or wire holding stones is OB and grass is in play regardless of stake location
Hole # 7 - Reeds and lake on right is a lateral hazard. Protected area so limit the depth of search
- Over green in reeds is a lateral hazard
- Ball over fence in back of green is way too much club. OB “Out of Bounds”
Hole #8 - Ball in water in front of tee or lake on the right side are lateral hazards

Out of Bounds (OB) -Ball out of bounds is a stroke and distance penalty. For example, if hitting from the tee OB, you next shot will be your third stroke.
